- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★When I was a child the Tartagia ice cream van was mobbed by the other kids on the estate . All we could afford was the water ice lollys . When I first had my taste of Tartagia ice cream I was hooked . Even now , at 68 , I think it is the best ice cream I have tasted and believe me I have tasted ice cream all over the world .
